BJP State president Somu Veerraju on Friday appealed the Andhra Pradesh authorities to permit devotees to take dips in river Tungabhadra through the Tungabhadra Pushkaram which commenced on Friday.
Speaking to newsmen right here, Mr. Veerraju lamented that there was no function of spending ₹200 crore on creating the pushkaram ghats if the devotees wouldn’t have the power to take the holy dip in the river straight.
