Authorities at Okay.R. Hospital in Mysuru drafted the companies of Fire and Emergency Services personnel to assist break ice crystal formation within the oxygen tank and averted an emergency on Tuesday.
Sources mentioned failure to take action would have resulted in ice crystal formation within the tubes and affected the oxygen stream.
Director of the Mysore Medical College and Research Institute C.P. Nanjaraj mentioned ice crystal formation was regular and so they use sprinklers ceaselessly to interrupt it and maintain the stream regular. But the crystals had hardened and therefore it was determined to hunt the help of the Fire Services who helped break the ice utilizing high-powered sprinklers.
Dr. Nanjaraj attributed the ice build-up to the excessive utilization of oxygen.
