In an unique video statment issued to
Times of India, Vasisth defended the content created by Kundra. She mentioned, “Raj Kundra and I have been arrested for the same case, we have the same investigation going on. I know what was being made under Kundra’s company. I have worked as a heroine in 3 films produced for Raj Kundra’s app. He never forced me to do anything, I was paid according to the work I did and deserved. I had no issues with the work or the payment I received. I had no objections to the content, nor did I have any bad experience of working on the sets. Those films were released very well and neither of those films were porn movies. Those who have a doubt can use Google search and look for those films and my other work. None of it can be classified as porn.”
Vasisth together with eight others was arrested by the Mumbai police after an investigation right into a case involving the manufacturing and distribution of pornographic content by cellular apps. According to reviews, cops had performed a bust in Madh Island the place the alleged taking pictures of porn movies was going down. The actress, who made a reputation for herself within the risqué on-line present ‘Gandii Baat’, revealed that these reviews are all fabricated.
She mentioned, “News outlets everywhere have reported that I was caught by the police shooting on February 4th in a bungalow. But the truth is, I was home on that day. I was not present at any shoot. The police arrested a few individuals on February 4, who were shooting some objectionable stuff and those people were produced in court on February 5. Had I been part of that shoot, then I would also have been produced in the court with those people. But I was presented in front of the court on February 7, because I was not present at the aforementioned shoot at all.”
Umesh, a former worker of Raj Kundra, was accused of importing at the very least eight ‘pornographic and obscene’ movies shot by Vasisht on social media apps for financial beneficial properties. She denies these claims and provides, “I am not associated in any way with any porn film racket. I don’t make such films and I have no association with such malpractices.”
She was arrested by Mumbai Crime Branch in February and needed to spend a substantial period of time in jail. Recalling these harrowing months, Vasisth mentioned, “I have spent five precious months in jail for a crime I never committed. My accounts have been frozen, my mobiles and laptop have been confiscated. My life has been turned into hell. I haven’t had enough money to spend since the day I’ve been released from custody. Not just that, I even suffered a heart attack and was hospitalised for 10-12 days. In jail, I wasn’t able to breathe because of the kind of torture I endured and the kind of environment and people I had to endure in there. I didn’t deserve that.”
The court docket has sentenced Kundra to police custody until July 23, and this can give the cops time to research the involvement of Vasisth and others on this case.
