Realising that early publicity to entrepreneurship is vital to creating the fitting mindset, the State authorities, in collaboration with Global Alliance of Mass Entrepreneurship (GAME), has set out to inculcate entrepreneurial traits in students.
Speaking after inaugurating an entrepreneurship coaching programme for students of Classes 9 to 12 in authorities faculties, Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh stated the programmes would encourage students to suppose out of the field and recognise entrepreneurial alternatives round them.
He stated the concept was to push the younger learners to grasp the abilities wanted for the twenty first century. “We want to see our students as creative individuals, motivated self-starters and eager to learn new things with changing times,” Mr. Suresh stated.
The Minister stated the venture would roll out in phases and would proceed for the subsequent three years. In the primary part, students from a few of the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs) and different excessive faculties would be taught the ropes of entrepreneurship.
In the second part, all KGBVs and some further authorities excessive faculties could be coated whereas within the third part, all excessive faculties within the State could be coated.
A ten-day pilot programme could be carried out by the GAME consortium, the Samagra Shiksha wing of the Department of School Education and State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT).
