The All-Women Police, Madhavaram, on Wednesday arrested a 24-year-old youth for residing with a 14-year-old woman since final 12 months.
The mother and father of the sufferer, residing within the Madhavaram police station limits, lodged a criticism on May 4 final 12 months with the police, alleging that their daughter had gone lacking. On investigation, the police discovered that the woman was identified to the offender, recognized as Aravindh Krishna, of Perambur, as she incessantly visited his store for shopping for meat. The youth took her to his place and tied a thali. From then on, that they had been residing collectively and have a baby.
Both had been subjected to medical examination. Police arrested Aravindh Krishna for offences below the provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. He was remanded in judicial custody.
